Mission Statement

To promote a happy , healthy lifestyle for Winthrop’s seniors within the Community by offering informational, recreational, fitness, cultural programs and activities, while reaching out to the frail and homebound.

Door to door rides upon request for medical appointments, shopping or trips to the Winthrop Senior Center.

Walking Club, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Zumba, Crochet/Knitting, Sewing, Ceramics, Arts & Crafts, Music Appreciation, Spanish Class, Italian Class, Art Class, Bowling, Cards, Day & Overnight Trips, Daily Lunch Program

Social Service & Outreach

Shine Coordinators are available (Serving Health Insurance Needs for Elders). A dedicated     Outreach Coordinator is available. Homebound Seniors are considered a priority but Seniors who are not home bound and may need assistance or referral advice may benefit from this   service as well.
